February 1, 2024

Sacramento, CA- The Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (SCDSA) Board of Directors has voted to endorse Amy Holliday in her campaign for Sacramento County Superior Court Judge. She has spent a significant portion of her career as Deputy District Attorney for Sacramento. She was named Prosecutor of the Year in 2015 and awarded the Outstanding Victim Service Award in 2014. She led the successful prosecution of several major cold cases, including Joseph DeAngelo, the East Area Rapist/Golden State Killer, as the Assistant Chief Deputy of the District Attorney’s Office. Additionally, she is a law professor, using her years of experience to teach students.

According to Mrs. Holliday, “I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs Association, which represents the men and women who risk their lives daily to keep the rest of us safe.”

“It is with great pleasure that we endorse Amy Holliday for the Sacramento County Superior Court Judge. Amy has extensive law experience with high-profile cases and similarly to a law enforcement officer, she wants to make our community a safer place.” -Sergeant Nathan Seger, S.C.D.S.A. President.
