Organizers of the Deputy Mark Stasyuk Memorial Fishing Tournament are excited to share the 2020 tournament will be held on Saturday, September 12th.

Deputy Mark Stasyuk was killed in the line of duty on September 17, 2018, while responding to a call at a Rancho Cordova-area business. Mark was an avid fisherman in his time off, and the Tournament was created in 2019 to raise funds in Mark’s memory.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Mark Stasyuk Academy Scholarship. Recruits who embody the qualities and characteristics of Mark will receive funds to offset their Sacramento Sheriff’s Office academy expenses.
