SCDSA Endorses Jacqueline Ortiz for Elk Grove School Board, Area 6

Sacramento, CA- The Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (SCDSA) Board of Directors has voted to endorse Jacqueline Ortiz in her campaign for Elk Grove School Board, Area 6. As a mother of four, Ortiz grasps the intricacies and possibilities in Elk Grove’s educational landscape. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UCLA and has 23 years of financial expertise, including underwriting commercial real estate loans for small businesses. Two years ago, she transitioned from her finance career to prioritize her family and pursue her interests in education and community engagement. She actively participates in children’s initiatives and regularly attends school board meetings.

Mrs. Ortiz said, “I am thrilled and appreciative of garnering the support of such an important community organization. Our shared commitment to public safety and education is crucial as we work together to create safer schools, strengthen our communities, and achieve better educational outcomes for our students. I hope voters will recognize the importance of this mission and join us in building a strong and safe future for families.”

“We are happy to support Jacqueline Ortiz for the Elk Grove School Board, Area 6, due to her dedication to educational matters, especially school safety.” Sergeant Nathan Seger, S.C.D.S.A. President.
