Beneficiary Death Benefits
- $5000 Active Member Upon Death
- $2500 Any In The Line Of Duty Death In State
- $2500 Retired Member Upon Death
Mental Health and Counseling Support
The STAR 6 Foundation receives various requests for mental health support. Thus, we contract with a culturally competent therapist for first responder assistance. *This benefit is available after the use of County EAP.
Financial Support
The STAR 6 Foundation receives various requests for assistance for many different reasons. Most requests require a Board approval. Not sure if your request meets our mission? Reach out and we will see what we can do to help.
First Responder AA meetings
The STAR 6 Foundation is involved in supporting a First Responder meeting for those struggling with addiction. This meeting is hosted every Wednesday evening at the SCDSA office. Inquire for more Info.
