It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that the Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association announces the passing of SCDSA Vice President, Sergeant Dan Cabral.   Dan passed away yesterday morning after succumbing to pancreatic cancer.  Dan battled his cancer with courage and determination, much like he did anything else during his life.  Dan served on the SCDSA board from 2008 to present and was elected Vice President in 2014.   

Dan is survived by his wife, Donna, daughters, Julie and Melissa, son, Steven, brothers, Manuel and David and sister, Elva. 

In lieu of flowers, Dan’s wife Donna, has asked that donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
