Dear Friends,With the District Attorney’s decision this past weekend, the California State legislature is going to start being pressured to support either Assembly Member Shirley Weber’s bill, AB 392, which changes the standard from reasonable force to necessary force or Senator Anna Caballero’s bill, SB 230 which mainly advocates for additional training for law enforcement and addressing the mental health crisis we are seeing in our communities....
